What it is and how it works

Water passes through a chamber where a lamp emits 254 nm ultraviolet light. That radiation damages the genetic material of bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms and prevents them from reproducing. Disinfection happens in seconds, without adding chemicals and without altering the water’s taste, odor or composition.

Benefits

  • Instant disinfection, with no chemicals or by-products.
  • Does not alter the water’s taste, odor or pH.
  • Low power consumption and simple maintenance.
  • Complements reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration and ozone.
  • A versatile system for different flow rates.

Technical features

  • Stainless steel reaction chamber.
  • Lamps with a service life of 8,000 to 10,000 hours.
  • Optional UV sensor that measures intensity to verify efficiency.
  • Design dose of 30 or 40 mJ/cm².
  • Models for flow rates from 1.5 to 12 m³/h.
