What it is and how it works
Dissolved iron and manganese are invisible when they leave the well, but on contact with air and surfaces they oxidize and form particles that stain, color the water and clog pipes and equipment. The system removes these metals and retains them in a bed of catalytic filter media. The same process removes hydrogen sulfide, responsible for bad odors.
